It’s no surprise that our most-liked Instagram post in the past month featured PhD candidate Lucía Abascal Miguel (MS ’18) as a finalist for Grad Slam, the UCSF Graduate Division’s annual research communications contest. Her presentation, “No le Pidas Peras al Olmo / Don't Ask the Elm Tree for Pears,” won Third Prize and was the first-ever Grad Slam presentation in Spanish. Felicidades Lucía!
