There’s a flame of transformation kindling in the lives of our youth. God is awakening a spirit of bold possibility that will be brought to life at IGNITE Ocean City.
This experience for young people (in grades 6-12) will be held March 7-9 at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center in Ocean City, Maryland. The theme of the conference is &GO, based on Matthew 28:19, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations…”
Sponsored by the Baltimore-Washington and Peninsula-Delaware Area, the event will call those present into a bright encounter with the living God.
Early-bird registration, which is $65, or $60 for those in groups of 15 or more, is now live.
IGNITE’S keynote speaker will be Pastor YaNi Davis, an internationally known performance artist; the featured musician is Angie Rose, a rising Latina music star. The gathering will shine even brighter with conversations with Bishop LaTrelle Easterling, worship music from North Point Worship and the DJ, El Vow.
IGNITE will build on the former ROCK and Youth Rally experiences. It is being created as a holistic, transformative, year-round experience for young people that includes fellowship, worship, learning, and service components. In addition, young adults will be lending their service and mentorship through the IGNITE Squad.
Bonfires will be held this fall to launch the IGNITE experience. They will be held at:
- Camp Manidokan, near Harper’s Ferry, W.Va., Sept. 22 from 2 to 5 p.m.
- West River Center in Churchton, Md., Oct. 5 from 5 to 7 p.m.
- Camp Pecometh in Centreville, Md., Oct. 20 from 4 to 7 pm.
Register today for the bonfire at Camp Manidokan or West River Center or at Camp Pecometh.
We’re excited about seeing you at IGNITE as we come together to draw closer to God and, in faith, set the world on fire.
