Fuel Your Game Watauga


  • Dates: March 27, April 10, and May 1, 2022
  • Location and Time: Watauga High School 4:00-5:30pm


"Fuel Your Game Watauga," is a free performance nutrition class open to WHS student-athletes. During the 3-class series, students will learn about macronutrients, nutrient timing, hydration, and hands-on healthy snack preparation. Participants who complete all three classes will receive gift cards from program sponsor Clean Eatz.

Breathing/Meditation


  • Come join Matt Cooper, Counselor for Faculty and Staff, for a breathing workshop (Wim Hof) that provides mental and physical health benefits. Then followed up with a meditation session that teaches different meditation techniques.

Camp Crinkleroot


April 1 - 2, 2022



Spring Camp Crinkleroot will take place over the weekend of

April 1 - 2, 2022. Camp will be held at the Old Cove Creek School. Past campers as well as siblings of campers are welcome to attend! Please complete a camper application below - registrations will be capped at 16 campers.


  • A camp for kids with autism or similar disorders. Free, ages 8-14. Campers will be paired with ASU student buddies and will spend the weekend participating in camp activities such as arts and crafts, field games, treasure hunts, and singing silly camp sing-a-longs. Sponsored by the IHHS Hub for Autism and Neurodiversity (HANd)

Free workshops for the Body, Mind and Spirit

  • Living Longer and Happier
  • Anna Mary Moses (aka Grandma Moses), an American folk artist, didn’t start her career until the age of 78. Adored chef and icon Julia Childs turned a hobby into a career after she turned 50. Join us to discuss intrinsic and extrinsic factors to successfully live longer and to gauge what that means for you! Students are welcome to attend!

Climate Change and Health in Rural Mountain Environments: A Collaborative Workshop

We continue to offer free Aging Well Assessments at the Interprofessional Clinic. Our Assessments monitor Health Indicators including:
