IHIF Hosts Scottish Delegation
In early May IHIF hosted a delegation of companies from the Scottish Life Sciences Association (SLA), our counterpart group in Edinburgh, Scotland. The group attended Elevate Ventures’ Kinetic Conference, joined IHIF members at the IBJ Life Sciences Power
Breakfast, met with representatives of IBRI, TechPoint, IEDC, and The Indy Partnership, and participated in numerous individual meetings over the course of the week. The highlight was a “Doing Business in Scotland” program, hosted by Barnes & Thornburg with a well-attended networking reception afterwards.
IHIF will be organizing a return mission to Scotland October 23-26 (save the date!) IHIF would like to thank the following for their help and support with the mission (Team Indiana!): Visit Indy, The Indy Partnership, IEDC, Barnes & Thornburg, Genesis Plastics and Welding, TechPoint, IBRI, and OrthoIndy,
Participating Scottish companies included: Cellexus, Green Cross Medico, Benenox, Entrust UK, Cohesion Medical, Compliance Path/ProMedim, and the SLA.

Attention Current and Prospective Members!
New IHIF Value-Based Memberships Now Available
For 25 years the Indiana Health Industry Forum (IHIF) has been Indiana’s bio + med tech trade association – working to build, connect, and advocate for our members and promote Indiana’s bioscience community around the globe. Over that time, we have appreciated the support of hundreds of companies, large and small, and look forward to continuing to work with all of you and on your behalf as the importance of this industry to patients in the state and around the world continues to grow.
In response to both member and board suggestions, IHIF is introducing value-based memberships. For some, there may be a slight increase or decrease in your annual dues – depending on the benefits you choose. For most of you, there will be no change. We have worked hard to create a variety of options to accommodate companies and interests of all sizes.
Some businesses might think membership is only for organizations directly involved in research or production of biotech-related products, but if you are part of an organization looking to connect to the bioscience industry, we believe you will find value in a membership.
If you are not an IHIF member, we invite you to join now.
Our members are central to everything we do. We hope you explore the benefits of membership and look for new ways to engage with us to build a stronger, more connected bio+med tech community.

Two of our Scottish members, Cohesion Medical and Compliance Path, were back in the US and exhibiting for the first time in the Scottish pavilion. Also exhibiting were Barnes & Thornburg, CAI, and Singota Solutions. – For a full list of Indiana participants, please
