Animated by the IHM Charism of love, creative hope & fidelity ... Embracing the Mission since 1845!

Dear Friend,
We all know that our Blessed Mother is a powerful intercessor for us! When we talk about the Immaculate Heart of Mary, we are reminded of our place in Mary's heart where she constantly keeps us and our needs present to our Provident God. Yes...there, we are kept safely "on God's mind". So remembering this truth can be a saving grace each day as we continue to face our own personal challenges as well as witness the violence in our neighborhoods and ruthless evidence of war across the globe!

May you be ever mindful of your place in Mary's Immaculate Heart and let that be a strength for you for whatever challenges of mind and heart come your way daily!

Sincerely,
Sister Stephen Anne IHM

The IHM Sisters have devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary as we promote Mary's welcoming heart in the very title of our Congregation - Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary! During the month of May, dedicated to our Blessed Mother, we invite you to join us in our reverent love for the Heart of Mary, so ready to embrace us!
Honoring Mary's Immaculate Heart is really just another way of honoring Mary as the person who was chosen to be the Mother of God, recognizing her extraordinary holiness and the immense love she bestowed on Jesus as his mother, the person who was called to share in and co-operate in his redemptive sufferings.
The video below captures the endearing prayer honoring the Immaculate Heart of Mary that Pope Francis shared with the world!

Laudato Si - Doing Our Part in Caring for Our Common Home
"There is a nobility in the duty to care for creation through little daily actions, and it is wonderful how education can bring about real changes in lifestyle."

CATHOLIC SOCIAL TEACHING NEEDS YOU!
Catholic social teaching is based on and inseparable from our understanding of human life and human dignity. Every human being is created in the image of God and redeemed by Jesus Christ and therefore is invaluable and worthy of respect as a member of the human family. Every person, from the moment of conception to natural death, has inherent dignity and a right to life consistent with that dignity. Human dignity comes from God, not from any human quality or accomplishment.
