Joyful Bearers of God's Redeeming Love!

Greetings!

As we enter this sacred season of Easter, I want to take a moment to thank you for the profound role you play in shaping not only minds but also hearts full of faith. Your dedication to the education of our children is more than a profession—it is a ministry, a living witness to the love and truth of Christ.

Easter reminds us of the triumph of light over darkness, hope over despair, and life over death. In your classroom, you echo this message daily by nurturing faith, encouraging compassion, and guiding students toward the joy of the Gospel. You plant seeds of virtue that will grow long after the school year ends, and in doing so, you participate in the mission of the Church in a beautiful and lasting way.

May the Risen Lord bless you with renewed strength, deep peace, and the joy that comes from knowing your work is part of God’s greater plan.

Thank you for being a beacon of faith and a source of inspiration to your students and our community.

Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed and joy-filled Easter!

Blessings,

Sister Mary Sue

Let us join Pope Leo in prayer for his

April Intention:

Pope Leo has asked to pray of priests in crisis during the month of April.

Let us pray for priests going through moments of crisis in their vocation, that they may find the accompaniment they need and that communities may support them with understanding and prayer.

Global Sisters Report

Global Sisters Report is an independent, nonprofit source of news and information about Catholic sisters and the critical issues facing the people they serve. Our network of journalists report about their lives and works, and sisters write commentary from their perspective.

IHM Charism Connection

St. Alphonsus and the Cross

St. Alphonsus Liguori, a theologian who taught passionately about the redemptive power of Christ's love, saw the Passion and Death of Jesus as an overwhelming expression of divine love for each of us. For him, the mystery of Redemption was not just a theological truth, but a personal invitation to experience God's love in our own lives, especially in the midst of suffering and how this perspective can transform our understanding of suffering and hope.

St. Alphonsus teaches us that the Passion of Christ reveals the profound humility of God. Jesus, fully divine, emptied Himself of His Godliness to take on the fullness of humanity. This is an act of ultimate love—one that we cannot fully comprehend.

Prayer Before a Crucifix

Look down upon me, good and gentle Jesus,

while before Your cross I humbly kneel

and with burning soul, pray and ask You to fix deep in my heart

the virtues of faith, hope, and charity,

true sorrow for my sins, and a firm purpose of amendment.

While I gaze upon, with great love and tender pity,

Your five most precious wounds,

I call to mind the words of David, Your prophet,

 "They have pierced My hands and My feet;

they have numbered all My bones."

Amen.
