2025 IHM Nun Run

Race Day Recap

We’ve crossed the finish line on another successful IHM Nun Run! Cloudy skies and a little rain didn't dampen the spirits of those who came out on Saturday, June 7 to run or walk in support of the sisters in Camilla Hall. It was a wonderful day of fitness, fun, and fellowship! All proceeds will be used to purchase two therapeutic bath tubs for the sisters. Thank you to everyone who participated in the race or made a donation. We are grateful for your support!

Camilla Hall Celebrates 65 Years!

June 2 marked the 65th anniversary of Camilla Hall. A special mass was held followed by a delicious lunch provided by Nick's Roast Beef of Philadelphia. May God continue to bless those who serve and reside at Camilla.

Mark Your Calendars for Camilla Hall's Oktoberfest

Planning for the 2025 Camilla Hall Oktoberfest and Craft Fair is well underway. Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the grounds of Camilla Hall. We look forward to seeing you there!

We join the Nazareth Academy Grade School Community in honoring Sister Melissa Marie Mastrangelo, who was recognized with the 2025 Distinguished Graduate Award. This honor, given on behalf of the National Catholic Educational Association, celebrates alumni who exemplify the values instilled through Catholic education: faith, leadership, service, and excellence. Nazareth Academy notes: “We take immense pride in the accomplishments of our graduates and would be delighted to highlight your accepting your call to religious life as well as your leadership role at St. Monica School.” Sister Melissa was presented with this award at the Nazareth Academy Graduates Award Ceremony on June 2.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help

Our Lady of Perpetual Help is the patroness of Haiti. In 1942, the Haitian president and his cabinet petitioned the Holy See to declare her the patroness of the country, according to a Roman Catholic bishop. The church and the civil government in Haiti have both honored her as such, and she is celebrated with an annual Novena leading up to her feast day on June 27th.

Let us pray on behalf of the people of Haiti:

Mother of Perpetual Help, you have been blessed and favored by God. You became not only Mother of the Redeemer, but the Mother of the redeemed as well. We come to you today to ask for your help. Watch over our sisters and brothers in Haiti and take care of them. As you held the child Jesus in your loving arms, so take the nation of Haiti in your arms. Be a mother ready at every moment to comfort those most in need. Intercede for us, dear Mother, in obtaining peace for Haiti and nurture a lasting hope. Give the people of Haiti the perseverance and grace to always call upon you.

Mother of Perpetual Help, pray for Haiti! Amen.
