Will do no good

Unless you team them with

New Vision that will let you see

Through things."

ANNUAL APPEAL CHANGES

We are making a change to this year’s Annual Appeal campaign. Instead of a separate Annual Appeal mailing in October, this year we are including a remittance envelope in our Annual Report (coming your way soon). This envelope is dedicated solely for the Annual Appeal (unlike the envelope which is included in each magazine). The decision was made to include an Annual Appeal remittance envelope in the Annual Report to eliminate the additional cost associated with a separate mailing. We are always striving to be good stewards of your generous support! You can make a donation to the Annual Appeal using the remittance envelope, scanning the QR code, or visiting the IHM website. Thank you in advance for your generosity!

Giving Tuesday - December 2, 2025

December 2, 2025 is Giving Tuesday, a National Day of Giving! All proceeds made to the IHM Congregation on Giving Tuesday benefit the award-winning IHM Center for Literacy in Philadelphia. Our sisters who minister at the Literacy Center help adults build educational and workplace skills, empowering them to contribute to society and prepare for U.S. citizenship. Look for the Giving Tuesday postcard coming to you mailbox in November! We appreciate your support.

2026 Sippin' for the Sisters - March 15, 2026

Mark your calendars for the 2026 Sippin' for the Sisters Tea Fundraiser to benefit Camilla Hall on Sunday, March 15, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. This year, we have a new venue! Join us in the Dining Room at Villa Maria House of Studies (the IHM Motherhouse at 1 Our Lady Circle, Malvern). As always, there will be specialty teas, a variety of tea sandwiches, delectable desserts, raffles, and live entertainment. Our new venue provides guests with the opportunity to visit Sacred Heart Chapel and to tour the IHM Heritage Room highlighting the IHM Congregation's rich history. Click here to become a sponsor. This is a great way of supporting our Sisters! Ticket sales begin in January. For questions, call Maureen Cislo at 610-647-2160 x 1926 or email: Maureen.Cislo@ihmimm.org.

CAMILLA HALL

Everyone had a wonderful time at the Oktoberfest and Craft Fair held on October 4th. We were lucky to be blessed with sunny skies and even sunnier smiles. Best of all, the proceeds benefit our sisters in Camilla Hall. We look forward to seeing you next year! Special thanks to all the volunteers & sponsors who made this special day possible.

Bring Comfort to our Sisters

at Camilla Hall

Camilla Hall is in need of new electric hospital beds and recliner chairs for the sisters' rooms. These items offer our sisters comfort and support.

If you would like to make a donation to go towards the purchase of these items, scan the QR code or click here to make a donation online.

Every donation — large or small — brings us closer to meeting this important need for the resident sisters at Camilla Hall. Thank you for your kindness and compassion!

IHM HAPPENINGS

Sister Ana Iris Grana, on the right, receiving the Citation from Philadelphia Councilwoman Quetcy Lozada.

Congratulations to Sister Ana Iris Grana, who received a Citation from Philadelphia's City Council during Hispanic Heritage Month, for her "outstanding and unwavering commitment to education, her tireless service to diverse communities, and community empowerment." Today, Sister Ana teaches technology at the IHM Center for Literacy in Philadelphia, helping students develop the technology skills necessary to succeed in the workplace. We are so honored to Sister Ana for being the embodiment of our IHM charism.

Article by Sister Emily Rebalsky

Learning to forgive is a gift from God to be shared

"I was still feeling the sting after a person whom I find difficult confronted me about something in an unreasonable manner. Then, I saw it: a random prayer card someone left behind. Whether it was left by accident or on purpose, I’m sure now that God wanted me to see it. It simply reads, “We love because He first loved us.” (1 John 4:19)

This caught my attention for two reasons: My late brother’s birthday is April 19, and some of the digits in my grandmother’s phone number were 4, 1 and 9. Whenever I see 4:19 on the clock, I pray for both my brother and my grandmother and ask them to pray for me. I also ask Saint Vincent Ferrer, my patron who died in 1419, to pray for me."

There are also several touching tributes honoring our dear sisters who have passed on to eternal life. We also take you back to the summer with some fun photos from the annual IHM Nun Run. SOCIAL JUSTICE

Respect Life Month

October is Respect Life Month. Each October, a national campaign is held to raise awareness and act in ways that support our core belief that all human life is sacred. October is also the month of the Holy Rosary, you can say a Rosary for the unborn, just as our Camilla Sisters did here.
