| | A Story of Partnership: Harris Technology Services and the IHM | Morgan Harris, founder and CEO of Harris Technology Services. | |
Harris Technology Services is a family‑run technology services company that has been servicing the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (IHM) for over many years and it was a company founded on the belief that mission‑driven organizations deserve enterprise‑level technology support delivered with clarity, integrity, and personal commitment. Since their inception, Harris Technology Services has focused on helping schools, nonprofits, and community‑centered institutions use technology more effectively, securely, and efficiently.
However, the partnership between Harris Technology Services and the IHM began not through a formal engagement, but through a simple act of service rooted in community connection. Morgan Harris, founder and CEO of Harris Technology Services, says that the relationship started much earlier from his time of growing up in Stone Harbor. "I knew Sister James, who was the main sister of the retreat house [Villa Maria by the Sea] there," he said. "I started by helping her get Wi‑Fi in one room for the sisters to work.”
What began as a modest request soon evolved into a broader collaboration. As the needs of the retreat house expanded, Harris continued to support the sisters with increasing scope and sophistication. “It grew each year until the new building was built and Wi‑Fi was everywhere,” Morgan explains. “Then we began helping with IT issues and security projects at the Motherhouse, Camilla, the lower school, the high school, and other schools in the IHM family.”
Over time, Harris became a trusted technology partner across the IHM community, assisting with networking, security, planning, and numerous initiatives that strengthened the sisters’ ability to carry out their ministries.
This partnership is grounded in shared values; service, stewardship, and a commitment to supporting organizations that make a meaningful impact, which all comes from his respect for the IHM's. “The Sisters of IHM are great, and their missions help people around the world," Morgan says. "We have helped them maximize their IT investment, and I know that any dollar we donate will directly go to helping people, as they are very prescriptive with their financials and spend wisely.”
For Harris, supporting IHM events such as Sippin’ for the Sisters and the Nun Run is a natural extension of this relationship. These gatherings bring together individuals who care deeply about the congregation’s work and help raise awareness for the Sisters’ ministries. The spirit of community and shared purpose reflected in these events aligns closely with the values that guide Harris as a family‑owned business. “We’ve dramatically increased their efficiency and their IT systems with less investment by utilizing their options effectively,” Morgan adds, underscoring the company’s commitment to responsible stewardship and long‑term partnership.
Today, Harris remains honored to support the Sisters of IHM and their mission. What began in a single room in Stone Harbor, New Jersey, has grown into a lasting collaboration built on trust, respect, and a shared dedication to service.

Nun Run Recap
We crossed the finish line on another wonderful IHM Nun Run! The sun was shining and spirits were high as over 800 runners and walkers gathered on Saturday, June 4 to support the sisters at Camilla Hall. It was a beautiful day filled with fitness, fun, and fellowship.
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, as well as our participants, we raised over $100k to go towards purchasing a new wheelchair accessible van for our sisters at Camilla Hall to take them to their medical appointments. Whether you joined us on the course or contributed with a donation, we are deeply grateful for your support.

Bob Kelly Runs By
We were also pleased to welcome back Bob Kelly from Fox 29, who brought his signature energy and enthusiasm to Camilla Hall to promote the 2026 IHM Nun Run. Bob spent time with the sisters, sharing stories, laughter, and plenty of smiles as he drummed up support for the upcoming event.
His visit was a joyful reminder of the strong community support behind this beloved annual tradition. The sisters were delighted to reconnect with him, and his presence added an extra spark that we are always grateful for.

Workplace Giving
Many employers offer structured programs that make charitable giving easier—and often more impactful. The IHM community highlights three main pathways:
-
Matching Gifts — Many companies will match donations their employees make to eligible nonprofits. This can instantly double your contribution. We encourage donors to check with their HR department to see whether their employer participates and what steps are required.
-
United Way Designations — If your workplace runs a United Way campaign, you can direct your gift specifically to Camilla Hall #02026, ensuring your contribution reaches the IHM Sisters’ retirement and healthcare community.
-
Payroll Deduction — Some employers allow automatic deductions from each paycheck to support a chosen charity. This creates a steady, predictable stream of support for the sisters and simplifies giving for the donor.
Workplace giving matters because it provides the sisters with:
- A reliable source of funding for their ministries and care for retired sisters
- Lower administrative costs, since donations arrive automatically
- Greater impact, especially when matched by employers
For donors, it’s a way to support a mission they care about with convenience and consistency. Please call Maureen Cislo at 610-647-2160 ext. 1926 to learn more about how you can help and give a gift today through workplace giving.

God's Grace Goes Beyond the Report Card
Graduation time is not always filled with joy for families. Some students barely pass or don’t pass at all.
In June 1987, my mother was at her wit’s end with me. She had just received my 10th-grade report card in which I had failed two classes for the year: English and Music Major. I had never been a good student, and from seventh grade on, I received failing grades in tests, for marking periods and even eighth-grade math for the year. However, I had a natural ability to write, loved reading and played the flute, so I usually earned good grades in English and music classes. These failures were proof that these were not just academic struggles, but that I was flat out rebellious and refused to work.
Throughout the years, my parents had really tried to motivate me to improve in academics, trying everything from tutoring to punishments and everything in-between. My mom said, “You’re going to have to go to summer school now.”

| | Our Lady of Perpetual Help | |
| | | On June 27, we celebrate the feast day of Our Lady of Perpetual Help who holds a place of profound honor in the life of the Haitian people. In 1942, the president of Haiti and his cabinet formally petitioned the Holy See to declare her the nation’s patroness - a request that was granted, according to a Roman Catholic bishop of the time. Since then, both the Church and the civil government of Haiti have embraced her as a powerful intercessor and protector. Each year, the Haitian faithful celebrate a Novena leading up to her feast day, lifting up prayers of hope, resilience, and trust in her unfailing care. The IHM Sisters also hold this feast close to their hearts. In their own communities, the sisters mark the day with prayerful devotion, often gathering for a special liturgy, communal reflection, and the recitation of the Novena. Their celebration emphasizes Mary’s steadfast presence and her tender, perpetual care, themes that resonate deeply with their charism of love, fidelity, and service.
