Soil, Science & Solutions For 2023Expanding Our Capacity

The transition to regenerative health for everyone starts with the power above, inside, and below you. Three "spaces" that connect for real sustainability in happiness, peace, passion, purpose and health. New students in our online and in-class programs will be launching their learning with Ayurveda, Biological Chemistry, The Psychology of Disease and Nutrition & Health: The Fundamentals—all pillars of a holistic nutrition knowledge with each and every one being informed, in part, by soil. The integrity and complexity of soil as a living ecosystem, is inextricably connected to human health. There is significant published evidence that applying nutrition, through nature's therapies, deeply heals. Our orientation begins with an earth story that will change your perspective from the ground, up! The few thoughts below, are from students in our last orientation. Do any of these reflect your reasons to start with IHN?

Christina M (Online PT): "[We're looking] to get a really, good concrete background so that we're helping people, which is something that we collectively want to do, with the best knowledge base available, so that we can share what we know [with our clients, with confidence]."

Catherine H (Online PT): "I'm kind of excited, I didn't know I'd be this excited today! I was really impressed with everyone here today, in that nobody tried to be more special or more brilliant, everyone was so gracious in the conversation, and that's what made me think I picked the right school. I think I might've found my tribe."

Shahede B (Online PT): "There's so much information out there that I find by knowing it yourself, instead of just reading articles here and there, you can express yourself better [and hold credibility]."

Vanessa X (Toronto): "[For us, new students,] western, typical [conventional] medicine wasn't cutting it, so we are turning to clean, organic food, functional nutrition and living a holistic lifestyle."

Dana F (Online ET): "[We collectively believe] it's very important for children to be learning this information through us. There are a lot of important things we will impart on the younger generation."

Tiffany B (Online ET): "[We want to] get some evidence-based, scientific answers on the why of what we're learning, and we want to use our knowledge to deal with mental health issues, because it's such a big problem in this generation, right now, given the last two years and how we view our futures."

Anouck S-G (Online ET): "We want to improve our relationship to food, [develop] more self care and love ourselves, as well as apply the knowledge from IHN into our daily lives, on a daily basis, with friends, family, and our community."

Sara B (Online ET): "Becoming a more knowledgeable advocate for our [natural health] communities [is important to us all], being able to debunk incorrect information, and offer the public something closer to the truth."
