We are beyond delighted to be welcoming a new group of holistic influencers, each with an incredible personal story leading them to IHN. Students embarking on their holistic journey is one of our favourite times in the academic year. Every January, the palpable energetics in the air, are inspiring for everyone. We are kicking things off with Nutrition and Health: The Fundamentals, Ayurveda: Mind/Body Healing, Biological Chemistry and The Psychology of Disease. These courses hold the foundational range of knowledge, that have the eye-opening (and delicious!) principles of holistic nutrition revealed.

Everyone who has registered should have received their Acceptance packages and will be getting an email over the weekend to watch out for correspondence about courses, co-op/practicum, herb walks, holistic food preparation, farm trips and more. You will also be meeting your entire IHN administration team on your orientation day! If you are enrolled this may be one of your last IHN This Week emails. You will be moved to our internal students and graduate communication IHN Weekly Digest!

Orientating Towards Discovery & Connection

Orientation day positions, connects, aligns, and sets the personal and collective intentions for our new students. Meeting classmates and moving through enlightening dedication and expectation exercises, allows conversations to flow and lifetime friendships to begin. It is a defining day for new students to solidify their truth and begin a deeper advocacy based on their values. By the end of the day, there will be no strangers among you, only peers on a unified, personal and professional mission.

One of the sure signs that you are occupying the space of your calling is when you begin to attract amazing people into your life. Attracting amazing people to IHN, is something we are used to! Our curriculum includes demanding academics that are functional, therapeutic and evidence-based but connecting with your higher-self—your spirit—is as much a part of holistic nutrition in practice as is the art and science behind passion and purpose.
