Join us Monday March 27, 7:00 PM ET/4:00 PM PT for a 1 hour webinar as Dr. Shawn Meirovici talks about how Cannabis is gaining popularity as a natural, effective remedy for a variety of conditions. However, it’s important to understand the importance of proper dosing in order to maximize the potential benefits and minimize potential risks. In this webinar we will explore the differences in cannabinoids (THC and CBD) and administration methods (smoke, oil, edible, topical) and how these differences affect dosing. With proper dosing you can unlock all of cannabis' potential therapeutic benefits without putting your health at risk.

Join us Tuesday March 28, 2:00 PM ET/11:00 AM PT for a 1 hour webinar as Lisa Pitel-Killah discusses the interrelationships of minerals, namely the significant ratios, one of which identifies the functionality of the thyroid. The thyroid is affected by the levels of minerals, specifically selenium, calcium, potassium and iodine. Iodine, whether in the form of seaweed or Lugol's, needs to be understood in order to put it into clinical practice. Understand the effects of iodine, the measurement tools, the cautions and the conversions. Plus learn how to identify iodine insufficiency specifically by analyzing a client's HTMA (Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis) test.

During his 1 hour webinar on Wednesday March 1, September 6, Paul Demeda presented on how foods and nutrients support or compromise how your brain works, and how you feel. The idea that what you eat affects how you feel, is generally accepted by many people, and also well supported with research. Cannabis has been used as a medicine for centuries, but only recently has cannabis become mainstream as a treatment option. This course will provide an overview of cannabis, how it works in the body, and how to make your own cannabis preparations with CBD. CBD (cannabidiol) is the second most prevalent active ingredient in cannabis, that does not have a psychoactive effect. Participants will learn about the different types of cannabis, the various ways to consume it, and the potential benefits and side effects of cannabis use. The course will also cover safety and dosage information, and participants will learn how to create their own CBD infused oils, edibles, and topicals using cannabis extracts.

David's February start, sold out quickly. We have a cap of 24 for this course. Most of IHN's standard Con Ed courses have a cap of 20-25 because of their required evaluations, but the collaborations do not i.e. HTMA with Lisa Pitel-Killah, Digestive Health Practitioner Masterclass with Brett Hawes or the upcoming collab for the BIE Licensing and Training Program with Robert Tomilson and Silvana De Santis.

We scheduled an encore of Lab Diagnostics starting June 27. We have a Waitlist to see if can run it again. Email your interest, or wish to register, to Colleen Smith at [email protected]

The popularity of this course is threefold. The syllabus, the instructor's clinical experience and teaching style, and not the least of which being the rise of holistic practitioners employing available lab testing in their private practices and in their work with NDs and MDs. The link below shares the content of the course, per session, along with the new dates and times. We likely won't be running this next year, as we're in the works for another Con Ed with Dr. Duizer, launching Spring 2024.

Methylation has a critical role in gene expression, energy, metabolism, detoxification, immunity and behavioural development. It also plays life-changing functions in physical and mental health. If you are a practitioner, you may have experience with adults whose symptomatology and labs display a wide range of possible chronic disease states or children with neonatal disorders that parents agonize over correcting. You may have tried multiple strategies–to no avail. If this sounds familiar, this webinar will give you a start in understanding the intricacies of the Methylation Cycle and Folate Pathway and their application in practice for effective results.

Key Topics:

• The basics of The Methylation Cycle: what is it, how it functions and links to chronic disease
• How is Methylation disturbed?
• Epigenetic blockages vs. Genetic SNPs, MTHFR is just a small part of the Methylation puzzle
