During his 1 hour webinar on Tuesday January 3, Robert Tomilson presented on how to detect weakness in the body long before they manifest as disease. Iridology is a quick, accurate, non-invasive and painless method of health analysis through the examination of the iris and a perfect “marriage” with any nutritional practice. The iris consists of tiny nerve fibers known as trabecula that reveal the body’s constitution, inherent weakness, level of health and the transitions that take place in a person’s body according to the way he or she lives.

During his 1 hour webinar on Monday January 9, Dr. David Duizer presented on how he reviews conventional, functional and alternative biological markers used in the assessment of cardiovascular health. From a holistic perspective each lab will be reviewed for clinical relevance. As the primary cause of mortality in Canada, atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) has the attention of health care providers working in disease prevention. With little-to-no subjective warning signs the approach to lab evaluation must be holistic, comprehensive, and evidence-based.

During her 1 hour Guest Speaker talk on Tuesday January 10, Sofia Pistrila explored the topic of Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), an increasingly more prevalent condition in our practices. Every time you have a client who continues to react to seemingly everything, no matter how long you heal their gut and what protocol you apply, consider MCAS. Clients with mold toxicity, chronic reactions to pathogens, skin irritations, chronic inflammation and many “itis” conditions, may have this multisystem disorder named MCAS. Solving Mast Cell Activation Syndrome can “open the case” in making it possible to finally get to the core of deep healing.

Key Topics:

• What MCAS is and how to recognize it in your clients
• A picture of the body’s systemic response affecting practically every organ and system
• One genetic mutation that predisposes for MCAS
• Protocol strategies including diet, lifestyle and supplementation for MCAS

Live, Real-Time Instruction Recorded For When You Are Ready

If you want to take one of IHN's Con Ed courses but can't make the date or time, because you find you are double booked, at work or in another time zone, then learn through our recordings program! While you might not be on a mountain top, you could be anywhere else! Recordings are sent out next day before 12:00 pm Eastern. You learn along with the rest of the class. All links to the lessons are LIVE for one month after the course ends. This allows you to keep up with your peers and have access to the faculty member. Our Con Ed courses are not pre-recorded. They are updated yearly and taught in real-time. That means questions for the faculty member can be answered via email or at the top of the next live class. WhatsApp or Facebook groups are created in order to bring all peers taking the class together.

The only component of the course that needs to be done on the same day as the other students, or proctored by administration at a time that works for you, are the tests and final exam. Our Con Ed courses have been accessed by students all over the world. There is full administrative support.

IHN's Continuing Education programming invites all holistic nutritionist graduates from recognized programs (CSNN, EDISON, ALIVE, PACIFIC RIM, ETC.) or other allied natural health practitioners!
