Robert Tomilson Shares Material From His Con Ed Course

Iridology is a quick, accurate, non-invasive and painless method of health analysis through the examination of the iris and a perfect “marriage” with any nutritional practice. The iris consists of tiny nerve fibers known as trabecula that reveal the body’s constitution, inherent weakness, level of health and the transitions that take place in a person’s body according to the way he or she lives.

Connecting The CNP Community

Temperature is always a hot topic. The geography conversation about where students and graduates have roots came up often, and increasingly more so, over the last year. "Do you know of any students or graduates living in cities in the Caribbean or anywhere that doesn't snow!?" IHN has made introductions between the IHN CNP family in England, New Zealand, Mexico, Germany and all across Canada and the US. Right now, Florida is a popular state this year. We know of 5 CNPs who are there now but there are likely many more we don't know of. So we are looking! Our goal is to expand our reach for direct peer-to-peer connection. The three most cited reasons for asking are:

1.The peer already lives/works in the state or country now! When IHN launched its online program two years ago, amazing people from around the world have joined us and are now hoping to meet friends in the physical space.

2.The peer wants to move to a climate that doesn't have a cold, snowy season (sorry, winter) and would like to get in touch with local CNPs to chat about towns or cities in the area.

3.The peer wants to find graduates who can become potential Co-op partners; they are looking for Co-op experiences in the area, and would like to touch base with a graduate who is local while they are there; or a graduate is looking to collaborate with another graduate on a retreat, farming or practice initiative.

If you are a student or graduate, or know of a student or graduate, who lives/works in a year round warm climate like the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Southeast Asia, Southern States, Latin America, Africa, Australia/New Zealand or the Middle East:

"It is important to celebrate life, spread the joy of living and lead by example. Honesty, personal responsibility and spontaneity are very valuable ingredients in a true holistic practice."

We asked Eva what he loves about teaching her courses and what she loves about IHN:

“Teaching the Health Sciences, along with a traditional Holistic Food Preparation course at IHN allows me to contribute to the foundations of the next generation of practitioners. To me, that is priceless!”

"I love to help our students discover, develop and celebrate their unique talents, gifts and skills for their future holistic practice. My instruction is based on both ancient wisdom and current insights but ultimately, I am led by my heart as I draw on my profound connection to nature and the natural laws and principles. IHN is a place where we inspire, honour and nurture each other. We are a unique family that knows how to live with passion, eat and think well and thrive on healthy challenges. I was one of the founding teachers, yet the fountain of my enthusiasm is still overflowing. I am on a mission as I need to fulfill my recent motto: The more IHN graduates, the better the outcome for humanity!"

Concerts and tours can contribute to the climate crisis. Neil Young, a Canadian artist and pioneer in green touring, avoids travelling unless the venues are clean and the food is sustainable rather than fed by factory farms. In a November 16, 2022 article (2 min read), Neil shares with CBC, “When I look at the compromise that I would have to make to do that, the things that I don’t believe in, that I’d have to endorse, it doesn’t turn me on.” As the environmental impact of concerts becomes more prevalent, we hope more artists practice greener touring.
