A few weeks ago, Robert Tomilson took us on a journey through a fascinating exploration of the Iris and Sclera of the eyes. Observe how to detect weakness in the body long before it manifests as disease. Iridology is a quick, accurate, non-invasive and painless method of health analysis through the examination of the iris and a perfect “marriage” with any nutritional practice. The iris consists of tiny nerve fibers known as trabecula that reveal the body’s constitution, inherent weakness, level of health and the transitions that take place in a person’s body according to the way they live. Every Course is New and Live with Real-Time Instruction
If you want to take one of IHN's Con Ed courses but can't make the date or time, for several or all of the classes, you can learn through the recordings. They are sent out next day before 12:00 pm Eastern. All links to the lessons are live until three weeks after the course ends. This allows you to keep up with the class and have access to the faculty member. Our Con Ed courses are not pre-recorded, they are updated yearly and taught in real-time. That means that our questions for the faculty member can be answered via email or at the top of the next live class. WhatsApp or Facebook groups are created in order to bring all peers taking the class together.
The only component of the course that needs to be done on the same day as the other students, or proctored by administration at a time that works for you, are the tests and final exam. Our Con Ed courses have been accessed by students all over the world. There is full administrative support. IHN's Con Ed programming invites holistic nutritionists or natural health practitioners from all schools and programs across Canada, the US and the world.

Over the last year, IHN's Student Clinic has grown, expanding its reach by adding even more skilled talent to our, 10 CNP strong, Student Clinic Advisor (SCA) Team. They are respected, deeply knowledgeable and caring professionals who have decided to give back to the profession through IHN. We are grateful for their mentorship to the newest generation of peers, emerging onto the field. Our SCAs offer exclusive support for graduating students, guiding them, one-on-one, through their first experiences with clients. The conditions at the clinic are common and manageable for graduating students. Each of the protocols are reviewed and adjusted for optimal outcomes before students deliver each of the 5 parts of the protocol. Over the 10-12 weeks, from intake to final follow up, graduating students increase their confidence and practice savvy—a direct result of the gift given to IHN and our students by the SCA Team.

Seasonal affective disorder (SAD) is a type of major depressive disorder, that comes and goes with larger scale weather patterns. In this February 20, 2018 article (5 minute read), Kissairis Munoz wrote that "About half a million Americans, mainly from Nothern climates, suffer from SAD in its strictest form each year". It is difficult to determine if someone is experiencing SAD, or traditional depression, as it takes multiple years to see if the their is a repeating depressive cycle, but their are holistic solutions such as diet, exercise, light therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and more. Vitamin D, often low in people with SAD, is an effective way to lift your mood and is a champion in boosting your immune system.
