As a previous Head Start and Early Head Start Director, Lori brings a valuable appreciation and perspective to help support the unique needs of programs, staff and families. Being passionate about advocating for her state’s youth and at-risk children and families is something she has cultivated throughout her life. One of her goals as the IHSA Executive Director is to promote a culture of ongoing learning and growth through responsive professional development and mentoring opportunities for programs across the state. She looks forward to collaborating with Head Start leaders, staff, parents, and partners while moving the Head Start and Iowa Head Start Association missions forward. |
