Group Q&A
Before the main presentation, please plan to be a part of our group Q&A session.  During this 15 minute session, we'll open the meeting for any Business Analysis questions, or questions related to the evening's topic. This is your chance to leverage the massive collective experience of the chapter to address questions or problems you are facing as a BA and would like to get the groups input. You may also be the one with just the right piece of information or advice for a question raised to the group.

Message from the Chapter Board
By Linda Meserve, Chapter President graphic-beach-umbrellas.jpg

Summer is always a busy season.  Often, in addition to the regular routine of family, friends, and work, special times like vacations, picnics, and barbecues are also part of the schedule.  When can a busy professional catch that extra training?  Where can one discuss developments in the field with one's peers?  IIBA Denver has a couple of opportunities for you to consider.

Our certification study group has begun!  If you are interested in reviewing BABOK v3.0 with others, meetings are scheduled for twice a month through December.  Interested?  Just drop a line to Tom Vosburg at CBAPStudyGroup@Denver.IIBA.org for more details.

And please join us for our July 18 no-host mixer.  It is sure to be a hit.  A great opportunity to enjoy good food and good conversation with other Business Analyst professionals in the greater Denver area.  Please see denver.iiba.org for more details and to reserve your spot.

Looking forward to seeing you soon!

IIBA is a non-profit organization for Business Analyst professionals.  The goal of the local Denver Chapter is to support IIBA by (1) advancing the role of the Business Analyst as a recognized profession, (2) support opportunities for members to network with, and gain knowledge from, seasoned BA practitioners as well as industry and government leaders, (3) provide access for members to a formal "knowledge base" as well as forums for sharing expertise, expressing professional opinions and building a reputation within the industry, (4) provide pathways to learn about business analysis best practices, and (5) obtain and sustain a level of financial security, sustainability, and autonomy at the local level.
