What is the Alabama Interior Design Coalition?

AIDC (Alabama Interior Design Coalition) is an association representing all the legislative aspects of the Interior Design industry in Alabama. AIDC serves as an advocate for the Registered Interior Design profession in Alabama. Participation in the political process is an on-going, year round business necessity. It is imperative that AIDC maintain a visible and vocal presence in Montgomery to safeguard the Practice Act and to continue to move our profession forward. We hope you will join and support this important aspect of our profession!
A Night at the Races:

A Night at the Races, AIDC's only annual fundraiser, is the most fun you've had at the racetrack!

The event consists of watching a series of taped horse races. Guests may purchase "Funny Money" to place bets on individual horses in each race, with the odds calculated based on the betting on each race. Winnings are paid out to those who bet on the winning horse.
At the end of the evening, those winnings (or real money if you want) can be used to bid on several prize packages. Each package has a value of around $500.

In addition, there will be a Designer's Cup! Business cards of ten designers will be drawn from a bowl and each randomly assigned a horse in the last race. The designer whose horse wins will receive an all-expense paid trip. Past trips have included NYC and a resort within driving distance. This year's trip is still being planned. No purchase is required to drop in a business card, but the designer must be present to win. The other nine designers will receive funny money to be used in the auction
Earn a CEU by watching the first webinar in the joint series presented by IIDA and ASID.
