IIDA is 20! In honor of this, our Chapter event in March, Design Works + Sustainability Forum + Annual Meeting, had a 1920's theme. The event had a wonderful turn out and was a great experience. At the meeting, our Chapter unveiled a new regional identity graphic (shown in the email header above). Congratulations to all the winners and thanks to everyone/firm that participated at Design Works.

If you didn't know, you can attend any event at any City Center. If something appeals to you, sign up, arrange a carpool if it seems like a long drive, and meet people in your Chapter at other fabulous events.

Educational background: BS in Interior Design Appalachian State University
What is your design style? It is funny, if you saw my personal home, you would say a colorful cottage style. I love artwork and textiles, but I get to live out my minimalist modern dreams through many of my corporate and medical clients.
3 things you cannot live without: My husband and my two little boys!
Why interior design?
I really like working with my clients, getting to know them, how they work, what they like and interpreting all of that information into a great space they love to spend time in.
