Do you have specific questions about CMC or MMC certification? Are you unsure about the certification process?
Dr. Jaimis Ulrich hosts monthly online Q&A sessions for members in the process of pursuing CMC or MMC certification. Register for a February CMC Session or MMC Session.
You are encouraged to submit your questions ahead of time as a part of your registration.
Spaces are limited to 30 per session. Please check your calendars before registering. If you register but are unable to attend, we ask that you cancel so that another member may take your place. A "no show" may affect your eligibility for attending future Ask Dr. Jai sessions.

A Letter From The IIMC Foundation President | |

Dear IIMC Member,
The IIMC Foundation has been hard at work over the past year, with a mission to make it easier to give. While your contributions have and always will be focused on the Municipal Clerk profession, the Foundation’s Board (who are all volunteers) recognized the need to make the giving process easier. We have done just that by listening to feedback (such as providing an easy way to set up recurring giving) and moving to a more digital platform that provides all the options and tools.
Improvements made for easier giving
- Recurring Giving on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis, for any Self-Directed giving
- Self-Directed giving options all in one screen: You can do a general donation, donate to an endowment, or donate on behalf of someone else as a Tribute or Memorial
- Payment Options: We have them all now! Debit, Credit, Venmo, PayPal, GPay, etc.
- QR Codes and Live Display links available for the IIMC conference, events, and any state association conference.
- State Association Endowment Support: Want to strengthen your state’s endowment, or set up a new endowment for your state association? We have a suite of tools and are here to support you. Check out the City Clerks of California endowment page! They have built their endowment to over $80,000, and now we are adding additional tools to assist them in growing it further. We can do the same for you and your endowment!
