Online Professional Development Program (PDP): March 2022 Series
|
|
Testimonial from the March 17 Online Professional Development Program:
As soon as you register for the Leveraging Your Leadership Superpowers Using Strengths-Based Leadership webinar, [you] complete your strengths assessment. In the workshop, participants learn how to understand and leverage those strengths; recognize and mitigate the strengths you use too much, at the wrong time, in the wrong situation, and/or with the wrong person; recognize and maximize the strengths of others; and discuss how to lead teams with a strengths-based approach. Through interactive web polls and the Zoom Q&A and Chat features, you can ask and answer questions and see what your fellow Clerks’ strengths are and where they and you have opportunities for growth. You’re given optional (but beneficial – so do them!) activities and additional reading for after the workshop to take a deeper dive into understanding your strengths and how they influence each other, help you, and show up in different scenarios. I will use the information and tools to learn to appreciate the unique power and value I have and bring to others, how to apply my strengths and be aware of my weakness and work on mitigating the strengths I use at the wrong time. I’m looking forward to more online workshops! - Danielle Habr

IIMC staff continues to work daily, ascertaining that we are meeting our members' needs and ensuring there is continuity within the Organization. Staff continues to work full-time via a staggered schedule, splitting its time in the office and remotely as we slowly maneuver our way into having everyone safely back at headquarters. The timetable to return staff safely to a full office schedule is still in flux. Staff's safety and continuous service to our members are paramount. As of this E-Briefing, staff will continue to operate using a staggered schedule until it's safe to return everyone to work.
The Education Department has been working with Institutes and IIMC affiliated online companies to produce webinars and to provide complimentary and discounted online courses. Members who have certification points on file may still schedule appointments in available time slots to discuss reviewed certification applications and points received. Members can easily see the Education Department’s real-time availability and schedule an appointment at https://calendly.com/iimceducation.
The Membership Department continues to be at your service via email or phone calls.
If you have any questions, please contact staff or me. Thank you and stay safe.
