Those who attended the Membership Brunch got to meet Olha Kyrupian via our zoom session. It was so nice to put a face to her name. Please see below for Olha’s latest correspondence.

I am sorry for not answering for so long.

People in Ukraine support Israel so much. We understand what cruelty is in our experience with Russians. Those events are awful, and there are no excuses for the terrorists.

Thank you for the zoom meeting. I was really nervous, so I couldn't talk well.

Anyway, after that meeting one lady wrote to me and asked my address to send us some package. It is so nice, thank you all.

Now, I am away from home, writing another book for children at the art residence in Ternopil (the city on the West of Ukraine). I am writing about an outstanding Ukrainian woman singer Solomia Krushelnytska, the world famous opera star of 1904-1920.

Someone wrote about her in You Tube:

"Solomiya Krushelnytska (1871-1952), the pride of Ukraine, was one of the greatest of singers, greatly celebrated through Europe, especially in Italy, where her work in the Verdi/Puccini dramatic repertoire won her great acclaim. Here is a really magnificent version of "Un Bel Dì"
