Dear Friends,

Because of your generosity of time and money, we were able to send some hats to Israel which will be given to Israeli soldiers, contribute to the packages that Rinat and Ami Ben-Dror sent to Israel for the soldiers (yasher koach to the Ben-Drors!), as well as make contributions to two charities - The Hostages and Missing Families Forum and the emergency campaign of the Friends of the Israeli Defense Forces (FIDF). The forum offers families holistic support and professional assistance and advances the ongoing efforts through all channels, locally, regionally and globally, to bring the hostages and the missing back home to their loved ones. 100% of the FIDF’s emergency funds are going directly to support IDF’s soldiers’ urgent humanitarian needs.

In addition to contributing to Israel, we continue to support Sashko, Olha, and Yasya Kupriyan as they and their fellow citizens continue to suffer through the war in Ukraine. Dear Sharon,

You see, it is normal to me to write back so long, too. I had a very saturated May and June, so I didn't want to write you in a mess.

Now I get Yasya to my parents in the village near Kyiv, and I had some minutes to read a letter from you. You know, it's priceless because it gives me the sense of a lovely family. I really like you letters.

I had a lot of work, too. Living in Kyiv is filled with opposites. Sometimes you are irritated by danger, alarms, bombs and turning off the light (because of the attacks of russians on the critical infrastructure), and sometimes you are so happy because of living at home, with your family, in your country. I am not complaining, too. I am glad that I was back. Though I cannot know what would be in autumn and in winter. It is a little bit worrying.

Nevertheless I had so much fun and different art activities these months! We had two literary festivals in Kyiv, we had a great festival of folk music this weekend, we ended the school year.

I also attach some fotoes for you. Life is so "thick " here! I am happy that I am not in my waiting zone, yet. Like it was in Poland. On one foto there is my dad. On the other one is my kitty Murka. I love living with her! The last foto is from the corridor of our apartment, where we sleep during the night alarms. Yaroslava is sleeping in the early morning on the mat in my blanket. We believe that so-called rule-of-the-two-walls will save us from the fragments of glass.
