Dear friends of ILG,
As we step into autumn, the ILG team is busy traveling up and down the state to meet with local governments and community leaders. We are always energized by the connections and heartened by the amazing work you are doing in your communities every day.
We continue to grow our efforts in public sector workforce development, and recently presented about our apprenticeship initiatives at the CSDA Annual Conference, Meeting of the Minds, and the Northern California Apprenticeship Network. Please consider joining our upcoming virtual IDEA Summit to hear innovative strategies and successful examples of growing diversity, equity, and access to public sector careers.
October shows no signs of slowing down, as the ILG team heads to the Cal Cities Annual Conference & Expo, the Clean Mobility Forum, and the Global Civility Summit—just to name a few!
In this newsletter we highlight the launch of BOOST Imperial Valley, and the last Meeting Mastery training of the year. And as always, we have exciting updates from our partners and affiliates.
Thank you once again for your support and your service to your communities. We hope to see you out on the road this month!
