Dear Esteemed Members,
Approaching the end of 2023, encourages a moment of reflection. I express my heartfelt gratitude to each member of the Illinois Limousine & Bus Association. A special thank you goes out to our dedicated board of directors, tirelessly committed to offering education and resources to our membership. I extend gratitude to our vendor sponsors, who consistently step forward to bolster our association, enabling us to evolve as stronger companies. It is indeed an honor to collaborate with all of you.
On behalf of the board, I extend our deepest condolences to the family of Michael Fitzek. Michael, a longstanding member of ILLBA, always shared his unfiltered thoughts on issues impacting our industry. ILLBA has made a donation to the American Heart Association in Michael's memory. His absence will be keenly felt.
Condolences are also extended to Kevin Santilli of Max's Luxury Rides on the recent passing of his sister. A donation to the American Lung Association has been made in her name.
Mark your calendars for our upcoming coffee Zoom meeting Tuesday December 19th. I'm thrilled to announce that "Becky from Boston" will be joining us. Becky, a CPA and owner of All Points Limousine in Boston, will discuss strategies for building generational wealth, innovative tax planning, diversifying income, and choosing entity structures tailored to your needs rather than just your accountant's preferences. Becky has a thriving background as a serial entrepreneur. Currently, overseeing 120+ employees as an Amazon DSP (Delivery Service Partner), and owning multiple rental properties, Becky promises invaluable insights to help you save money!

Keep Tuesday January 9th free on your calendars. It has been years since ILLBA shared a dinner together, and the time has arrived to gather and celebrate, marking a post-COVID era where we've not just endured but are thriving, supporting one another. Our dinner will be 4:30-8:30 PM at Carlucci’s in Rosemont.
Stay tuned for more details next week; I'm eagerly looking forward to seeing you.
Remember to reach out to me or the board with suggestions on how the association can better serve you. What products or services intrigue you? What topics do you wish to explore further? Planning for the Great Lakes Transportation Show, scheduled for July 30th and 31st in Rosemont, will commence shortly. Your input on what you'd like to see at this show is invaluable.
Together, we are undeniably stronger.
Warm regards,
Tracy Raimer
