Are You Reporting Airport Incidents?

The ILLBA office has been receiving a number of complaints regarding airport incidents. This includes issues such as:

  • Aggressive hustling/solicitation
  • Chauffeurs leaving their vehicles unattended in the pick up lane
  • Dwelling (chauffeurs waiting in the pick up lane but not actively loading customers)
  • Vehicles improperly plated (i.e., no livery plates)

The above examples are violations of the Chicago Municipal Code

We appreciate and encourage members to keep us informed, and we are committed to tirelessly advocating on your behalf. However, it is critical that incidents be reported promptly to the Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) by chauffeurs, dispatchers, and customers (if they are willing to do so).

CDA needs to hear more from our community!

The Chicago Department of Aviation provides two ways to report incidents at O'Hare and Midway Airports:

Incident Reports: use for non urgent issues. The link should also be shared with customers, if they are willing to submit a report. These reports are reviewed by CDA staff. Provide as much detail as possible, such as date, approximate time, location, description of the issue. If CDA requires clarification, they will contact you (or your customer) for additional details

Contact Number for Non Emergency Issues : dial 311
