  • From December 18, 2023 to January 9, 2024, the Public Vehicle Licensing Operations Facility will provide service by appointment only.


Important for 2024 ! - BACP has eliminated the windshield livery vehicle license sticker.

The 2024 Livery Vehicle License “hard” card must always be displayed on the passenger side dashboard when the livery vehicle is in operation. Click here for bulletin.

Tesla Recalls Nearly All Vehicles On US Roads Over Lack Of Autopilot Safeguards


WASHINGTON, Dec 13 (Reuters) - Tesla (TSLA.O) is recalling just over 2 million vehicles in the United States fitted with its Autopilot advanced driver-assistance system to install new safeguards, after a federal safety regulator said the system posed safety concerns.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has been investigating the electric automaker led by billionaire Elon Musk for more than two years over whether Tesla vehicles adequately ensure that drivers pay attention when using Autopilot. The largest-ever Tesla recall appears to cover nearly all of its vehicles on U.S. roads.

Tesla Cybertruck's Stiff structure, Sharp Design Raise Safety Concerns -Experts


Dec 8 (Reuters) - The angular design of Tesla's (TSLA.O) Cybertruck has safety experts concerned the electric pickup truck's stiff stainless-steel exoskeleton could hurt pedestrians and cyclists and damage other vehicles on roads.

Reuters spoke to six safety professors and officials who viewed videos of crash tests conducted by Tesla on its first new vehicle in nearly four years and shown during a webcast delivery event last week.

Cook County - DCECO B2B NEWBIZ Grant

The state of IL has allocated $25 million in grant funding to support businesses in hard-hit sectors that started operations between January 1, 2020, and December 31, 2021, but have not been eligible for other federal or state relief programs. Applications for eligible for-profit businesses and nonprofit organizations are open from November 30 through January 11, 2024.
