ILM Academy's admissions application for the 2026-2027 school year will open on January 6th, 2026 at 9AM. January 6th-30th is the Priority Admissions period, a special time frame in which we offer a discounted admissions application fee ($100) and preference in the admissions process for applying during this time. For your convenience, our application process is entirely online! We will not be accepting paper copies of any documents. Make sure all document scans are uploaded in PDF format, appropriately sized, legible with no obstructions in order for your application to be reviewed.

Remember, families with currently enrolled students must also complete Re-enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year in School Pro to let us know you intend on returning for the next academic year by January 30th. Please note all currently enrolled ILM students should NOT complete a new applicant admissions application.

ILM Academy's focus is to provide a nurturing environment and to promote the success of each individual child. Although preference is given to current ECC students applying for ILM's Montessori Program, progression to Montessori Level 1 from ECC Toddler 2 is not guaranteed. Because there are several milestones and factors that have to be met to achieve success moving forward, ILM Academy cannot guarantee rollover to the Montessori program. ECC students intending to attend the Montessori program should follow the same re-enrollment steps as currently enrolled ILM students.

New Families: How to Apply

When open on January 6th at 9:00am, click on the 2026-2027 Application link available on our website.

Carefully read through and complete the online application (preferably in Chrome web browser, Safari is not fully supported by the application).

Pay the application fee online ($100 during Priority Admissions, $150 after Jan. 30, 2026): Visa and Mastercard only.

Required Documents (applications will not be processed until the following have been received):

Applicants for the Early Childcare Center & Montessori: 

1. Scan of official Birth Certificate or Passport 

Applicants to Grades 1-8: 

1. Scan of official Birth Certificate or Passport 
2. Most Recent Report Card
3. Most Recent Standardized Testing Records (eg. MAP/STAAR)
4. Discipline & Academic Request Form completed by current School Counselor or administration 
5. Teacher Evaluation Form completed by current teacher 

Upload supporting documents (1-3) to the link in the Application Confirmation Email you will receive after submitting the application. Failure to upload required documents will result in your application not being reviewed or processed. Please ensure you select the correct document category to upload to. Only PDF files will be accepted. No special characters or numbers should be in the file name.

The Discipline & Academic Request Form and Teacher Evaluation Forms (4-5) must be sent directly from the applicant's current school to admissions@ilmacademy.org.

Interviews & Testing

All Interviews and testing examination sessions will take place in person and on site at ILM Academy. Please note we are unable to complete either of these virtually.

All applicants for Grades 1-8 are required to take a testing exam. The exam will be offered on two different dates on-site at ILM Academy: February 9 or February 16, 2026. We will contact you via email to reserve your testing date after all supporting documents (1-5) have been received.

All applicants for Montessori Level 1-Grade 8 are required to attend an interview. Priority Admissions Interviews will take place between February 17-27. Applicants will be invited to an interview once their application form, fees, supporting documents and exam have been completed. We will contact you via email to schedule. Any applications or document submissions after January 30th will not be processed until after the Priority Admissions applications have been completed.

Remember, the Priority Admissions period will end on January 30th, 2026. Documents submitted after the January 30th deadline will not be processed in the Priority Admissions period and will not qualify for early admissions decisions. Early admissions decisions will be released at the end of March 2026. Regular admissions decisions will be released by May 2026.
