Dear IMA Members,
In the past few months, I’ve had the chance to walk manufacturing floors in communities large and small. What I see isn’t just productivity—it’s pride. It’s welders mentoring apprentices, engineers solving real-time problems, and owners investing in the next generation of talent. That’s the story of manufacturing here: quietly resilient, deeply innovative, and committed to community.
At the Idaho Manufacturing Alliance, we’re not just observers of that story—we’re active partners in it. Whether it’s helping you find the right resource for lean training, making connections across supply chains, or offering platforms to elevate the industry's voice, is heard on the issues that matter most.
This quarter, we’re focused on four big priorities:
-
Connecting Manufacturers to Resources — working with partners statewide to help you navigate tighter margins without sacrificing performance.
-
Workforce development strategies — especially pathways for more Idahoans into the skilled trades.
-
Celebrating excellence — preparing for the I-90 Conference, IMA golf tournament, and Idaho Manufacturing Tradeshow & Conference, we’ll be highlighting the people and companies driving progress.
-
Delivering value — we care about manufacturing. Everything we have in this world is manufactured in one way or another, and it's important for our economy and our families that we do everything we can to make sure manufacturing continues to thrive.
Your input, your wins, and your challenges—shape how we move forward as an organization. I encourage you to stay engaged, reach out, and keep us informed of what you need most right now.
Let’s keep building—smarter, stronger, and together.
