Spring StoryWalk® is Here!
Sunset Park, 655 Sunset Drive
Plants Can’t Sit Still, written by Rebecca E. Hirsch and illustrated by Mia Posada, is now featured on the StoryWalk at Sunset Park. Begin your journey at the toddler playground, cross two bridges, and enjoy 15 minutes of reading and exploring the outdoors. Each panel offers engaging activity prompts and literacy tips in English and Spanish.
As you wander, discover how plants move—from roots growing deep into the earth to stems reaching for the sun and leaves turning toward the light. Immerse yourself in nature, take in the beauty around you, and don’t forget to visit the Little Free Library—take a book, leave a book, and share the joy of reading!

Jordan's Teen Book Pick
I Am Not Jessica Chen by Ann Liang (Recommended Grades 9 and Up)
A young woman jealous of her cousin’s success wishes to take her place and live a life with a family that admires her, not her current average life that will never live up to her parents' expectations. This twist on the Freaky Friday formula places Jenna Chen in the body of her cousin Jessica, with all the secrets that come with the new digs.
