City of Echoes by Judy I. Lin
For fans of Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra, such as myself, delve into this new series set in the Earth Kingdom capital of Ba Sing Se. Jin, a refugee of a fire nation raid, knows better than to listen to the citizens who state that there is no war outside of the walls. She knows also to forego spreading the truth and focus on survival. However, the coercion of her best friend to work off family debts in the Upper Ring leads Jin to investigate the city’s criminal underworld and help unravel a deep conspiracy that might bring the war to her doorstep.

Powered By Community. Made Possible by YOU! | |
If Get Loud taught us anything this year, it’s this: Sedona shows up for its library.
Last year, 1,000 people filled the plaza for our first Get Loud.
This year, more than 1,500 of your neighbors, families, artists, musicians, and lifelong learners came together to celebrate what we all cherish—a community-powered library that belongs to everyone.
2025 has been a remarkable year at the library, shaped by the energy, generosity, and commitment of the community. Together, we’ve already raised $975,000 for Take Part, Make Your Mark, bringing us closer to transforming a 30-year-old building into a modern, welcoming space designed for the people who use it every day.
Three year renovation goals are one thing. Day-to-day operations are another. While the building renovation will shape our future, it is donations towards operational support that help keep our library up and running every single day.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit built by locals, this library continues to rely on the people who care about it to help shape what comes next. With Giving Tuesday happening tomorrow, December 2, this is a powerful moment for all of us to continue strengthening the library created by and for our community!

Get ready for a season full of local cheer! Kick things off with A Christmas Carol performed by Red Rock High School on December 4 and 5 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm — a heartwarming classic brought to life on stage.
On Saturday, December 6, enjoy Breakfast with Santa from 8:00 to 10:00 am, with a special sensory-friendly session from 7:30 to 7:55.
After that, head to Cottonwood for the Stationary Christmas Parade from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm for floats, fun, and holiday spirit.
Don’t miss the Community Craft Fair on December 13 and 14 for handmade gifts and seasonal treasures. Then wrap it all up with a magical performance of The Nutcracker by the Sedona Dance Academy on December 20 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm — the perfect way to celebrate the holidays in style!
