Did you know that the IMAGINE Network is supporting a number of research sub-studies in sites across Canada? Here are a few of our sub-studies who are currently recruiting:

Our Stress Reduction in IBD study uses an online stress reduction program to help people with IBD identify and manage stress.

The Patient Preferences in IBD Treatments study is worki ng to help us understand what is important to people with IBD when choosing between treatments. *Please note this study is only open to residents of Alberta or Manitoba who are enrolled in the MAGIC main cohort study.

The PET Imaging study in Toronto will be brain scanning patients with IBD who are also clinically depressed to better understand how the two relate to each other.

IMAGINE would like to welcome Perry Steckly as our newest Patient Research Partner! Perry is a Sgt. in Ottawa with the Ontario Provincial Police. Perry is an advocate for Public Safety Officers and is committed to exploring innovative solutions that lessen the frequency and effect of Operational Stress Injuries that often involve anxiety and depression within PTSD. Perry is energetic and fun. He is married and the lucky father of three amazing daughters.

The IMAGINE Network Annual meeting is scheduled to take place September 21-22, 2019 in Toronto. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
