Out and About: Local Happenings

November is bursting with energy and adventure for families around Sedona and the Verde Valley! Every Tuesday this month (Nov 4, 11, 18, and 25), the City of Sedona’s Pre-School Sports program invites little ones to get moving, learn new skills, and have fun with friends — the perfect way to burn off extra wiggles while building confidence on the field.

Then on Saturday, November 8, the festivities take off with not one but two local celebrations: Sedona’s Fest of Fall (1–8 PM) brings cozy autumn vibes, live music, and family fun, while just down the road, Cottonwood’s Walkin’ on Main transforms Old Town into a lively street party filled with art, wine, and local flavor.

Finally, lace up those running shoes and join the community on Thanksgiving morning (Nov 27) for Sedona’s beloved Turkey Trot — a beautiful red-rock run that’s all about gratitude, movement, and post-pie bragging rights!
