Technical skill and ability to balance varied goals lead to successful architectural lighting of historic renovations
IMEG's recent all-LED architectural lighting design for the Railway Exchange Building Exterior Façade Renovation in Chicago (shown above) is a prime example of how a skilled team can create success with even the most complex lighting requirements. This 2017 IES Illumination Merit Award winner tastefully fulfilled the owner's desire for prominence along Chicago's busy skyline and met the city's historic preservation division requirements, all while providing a forward-thinking, energy-efficient, and user-friendly design. Missman, Inc. joins IMEG
Illinois-based civil firm merges with IMEG Corp.

Missman Inc. has joined U.S.-based IMEG Corp. -- formalizing their fifty-plus year relationship in delivering high-quality design engineering to the Western Illinois and Eastern Iowa region. This merger expands our Quad Cities regional team and Midwest service offerings to include a complete range of engineering design and construction-related services while maintaining client-centric relationships and design innovation that have guided IMEG for nearly 60 years.

IMEG's core building services include engineering design in the structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and technology disciplines with medical equipment planning, architectural lighting, acoustics consulting, and commissioning provided as specialty services. Civil engineering and construction support services are offered throughout IMEG's western locations with plans to integrate civil services with Missman's existing civil operations. Read more.

Projects in the news

Several IMEG projects across the U.S. were in the news recently, including:
  • The new Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital (rendering at top left) in Creve Coeur, Mo. Officials with BJC HealthCare and the Washington University School of Medicine broke ground for the project in early June. Read more.
  • The Riverside University Health System's Nursing and Allied Health Education Building in Moreno Valley, Calif. The facility has received a Merit Award for the 2017 Annual County Public Projects Award of Excellence. Read more.
  • The Menasha Corporation corporate headquarters (pictured at bottom left) in Neenah, Wis. IMEG and the other members of the design and construction team for the new facility received a 2017 USGBC Wisconsin Leader Award of Merit. Read more.
