Online Notification System Launch Date Delayed - Stay Tuned

IMERC is changing its online reporting cycle. The next triennial mercury-added product notification is for calendar year 2018. IMERC is also adding and upgrading some features to the notification system. Public access to the e-filing system is unavailable while we implement these changes. We expect to launch the updated version later this summer. IMERC  will update users via another IMERC Alert when the system becomes available. At that time, IMERC will announce the new reporting deadline for 2018 notifications.

In addition to the Notification requirements, companies must ensure that their mercury-added products sold in the U.S. meet states' labeling requirements and/or are in compliance with applicable phase-outs and product bans.

Reporting to EPA - July 1 Deadline 

EPA's  Final National Mercury Inventory and Reporting Rule  requires manufacturers and importers of mercury and mercury-added products to submit a report on mercury supply, use, and trade in the U.S. every three years. The first reporting period covers calendar year 2018 and is due July 1, 2019. EPA published a compliance guide for the Rule. Contact Sue Slotnick at EPA for more information.
