IMLCA CLARIFIES RECRUITING STATEMENT
The IMLCA would like to clarify its position on recruiting.
The IMLCA does not support recruting of boys who have not yet entered ninth grade. If a coach is present at an event and not on the tournament staff or on the field instructing, then he must be there to recruit. The Association does not condone this action.
Coaches should ask themselves, is it right to recruit boys who not yet entered ninth grade?
We ask all coaches to support the IMLCA's mission to uphold the highest ethical standards and to maintain the integrity of the game that we are responsible for protecting.
