Pearisburg Store Relocation
A New Goodwill Store Opened in Pearisburg to Better Serve the Community

On April 11th, Goodwill celebrated the Grand Opening of newly relocated Pearisburg Store. The new store is located at Boxwood Lane beside Walmart and provides the public with a newer, brighter, and easier to shop location. It also features a convenient, Drive-thru Donation Center, ample parking spaces, the familiar faces of the Pearisburg Goodwill store team, and the same high quality, low-cost items for their family and home that customers have shopped for Goodwill for years.

Bikes, Bikes, and More Bikes!
Donation Drives and Community Programs Promote Independence

Bikes have been a popular topic around Goodwill this spring for several reasons. A common theme connects all of the different initiatives . . . the independence that comes from having transportation.
Learn About the Real Goodwill
Attend a Tour and Discover the Story Behind the Stores

When many people think of Goodwill they think of it as a place to drop off what they no longer need or somewhere they can find high quality, low cost items for the entire family and home. Goodwill is a social enterprise that turns items that are no longer needed into hope for those in need of training and employment programs. You are invited to see the story behind the stores and how Goodwill is building independence for individuals, building healthier families, and building a better community by attending a Real Goodwill Tour.
Goodwill on the Hill
A message from our President & CEO, Bruce Phipps

On April 19th, Goodwills from across the country met in Washington DC to advocate on behalf of Goodwill and the individuals we serve. This is something that we do once a year to ensure that our elected officials know the impact that Goodwills are having throughout our communities, but also to ensure they understand how they can support our mission through their work in Congress.
