IMPACT 211 expands support with a Certified Peer Support Specialist

Beyond standard information and referral, the Peer Support Specialist will assess callers’ needs, offer compassionate and supportive listening, and provide follow-up support for up to 90 days, helping individuals navigate their path forward with consistency and care.

To qualify for this enhanced service, individuals must be pregnant or actively using drugs by injection. By focusing on these high-risk populations, this initiative aims to reduce barriers, build trust, and improve long-term outcomes.



This addition reflects IMPACT 211’s ongoing commitment to meeting people where they are and strengthening access to critical services across our community and beyond.

Outbound text messages keep people connected

One of the ways we promote community connection is through outbound text messaging - an increasingly important strategy for sharing helpful information directly with those who need it.

Through these periodic text alerts, IMPACT shares updates about community resources, upcoming events, and opportunities for support. From mental health navigation and energy assistance to health insurance enrollment, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA), and vaccine clinics, these messages are designed to meet people where they are with information they can use right away.

The President & CEO provides strategic leadership, oversees all operations, and serves as the primary representative of IMPACT to community partners, civic leaders, and government officials. This role works closely with the Board of Directors to drive organizational strategy, financial health, program excellence, and community impact.
