Abby McLeod was promoted to Clinical Research Scientist II! Since joining us in May 2017, Abby has authored multiple CSRs, protocols, IBs, and narratives for an array of sponsors, all while earning her RAC certification. Abby has served as a narrative project manager and an author on submission teams. In addition to her consistent hard work, Abby is a dedicated team player with a wickedly infectious sense of humor.
Erin Peters
was promoted to Clinical Research Scientist II! Since joining us in May 2017, Erin has epitomized the role of team player. She is always willing to offer her time and talent with a smile and a positive attitude. Erin has proven herself to be a gifted author as she has written multiple CSRs, IBs, BBs, DSURs, nonclinical reports, narratives, and manuscripts.
Holly Buchanan
was promoted to Medical Writing and Submission Management Consultant! Since joining IMPACT in September 2017, Holly's extensive medical writing and NDA PM expertise has been utilized on multiple projects. In particular, her creation of a unique, fit-for-purpose integrated report that was a hybrid summary document/CSR was very well received. Holly's love of Gantt charts and mentoring have been on display this year!

From the very beginning of the Medical Writing Fellowship Program, these ladies eagerly absorbed every tidbit of information and advice given to them. They have continuously demonstrated that they are extremely hardworking and very thoughtful in all that they do.
Nicole Tackmann was promoted to Clinical Research Scientist II! Since joining us in September 2017, Nicole has authored multiple CSRs, in addition to IBs, protocols, narratives, and submission documents. She has been a wonderful contributor to our Corporate Communications team as the head of the Corporate Newsletter team and external events coordinator.
Kasturi Puranam
was promoted to Senior Clinical Research Scientist! Since joining IMPACT in January 2015, she has become our resident expert in everything PK and clinical pharmacology. As a senior reviewer she has been complimented for her open-door policy and willingness to explain the "how" and the "why" of documents. Kasturi also runs our lunch-and-learn seminars and has taken on development of a PK CSR training seminar. Her willingness to go above and beyond and help her colleagues has not gone unnoticed.
Beth Pultorak was promoted to Senior Clinical Research Scientist! Since joining IMPACT in June 2016, Beth has impressed hard-to-please reviewers with her contributions to several complex multi-author CSRs. Beth has successfully managed projects for some of our largest clients, reworking processes behind the scenes while maintaining positive partnerships. Beth is an active member of the Making an IMPACT team, most recently organizing the Boo-tanical Garden event.

Chrissy Williams joined IMPACT in 2016 and has previous CRO and mid-size pharmaceutical experience. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling, and cheering on her beloved UNC Tar Heels.
Rebecca Pogue joined IMPACT in 2017. When she is not writing, she can usually be found at the ice rink or soccer field supporting her daughters. She also enjoys baking and watching movies.
Stacey Snyder joined IMPACT in 2017. Outside of work she enjoys hiking with her dogs both locally and in the mountains.
Caroline Drucker joined IMPACT in 2017. She enjoys running, walking her dog, reading, watching musical theater and comedy, and exploring different types of food and drink.
Heather Peterson joined IMPACT in May 2018 after working in CMC. She enjoys coaching her kids' soccer teams, fostering dogs, playing board games, taking hikes, and vacationing in the NC mountains.

At IMPACT, we always strive to learn from one another. This quarter, we offered several internally-led training sessions, including seminars sharing tips and tricks for medical writing and updates to 3 FDA guidances.
In December, we attended an interactive webinar that introduced statistical concepts specific to clinical research.
