The BCPDA has developed a new white paper, and a companion Candidate Briefing and Questionnaire to bring our industry’s priorities into conversations with candidates.
These non-partisan resources (linked below) highlight how powersports supports jobs, tourism, small businesses and communities—and call for action on four priorities:
✅ Implementing and funding the Outdoor Recreation Strategy, with powersports represented at the table.
✅ Protecting high-value recreation access through a Road to Recreation Working Group.
✅ Improving motorcycle licensing, rider training and motorcycle-awareness education for all drivers.
✅ Developing evidence-based wildfire restriction policies in collaboration with our industry.
Members: please share both documents with candidates in your riding. Tell them how these issues affect your dealership, your customers and your community, and encourage them to complete the candidate questionnaire.
Your local experience can help candidates understand why these priorities matter.
