Guidance on Saving Your Progress Report
IMPORTANT: Please be sure that your Progress Report has successfully saved each time you click 'Save.' If your Progress Report has saved, you will see a green box at the top that indicates that your Progress Report has been updated. If there is a red error message at the top, the error identified MUST be addressed or everything you have worked on will NOT save. If you are having trouble identifying the error, please reach out to us while you are still in the system.

One error that we have identified that causes the Progress Report not to save is improper formatting when entering in Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or webpage information. If you enter any of this social media information, please try only entering those fields and verify that they have saved before entering additional data. Refer to the tool tips for additional help. The proper formatting is as follows:
Below are sample prompts that you will see in the system when trying to save your Progress Report. A green box indicates that your Progress Report has saved, whereas a red box indicates that it has not. The text in the red box may vary depending on the section that the error message is referencing.

Reminders:

DFC Progress Reporting Submission Window

The Progress Report and Core Measures section of DFC & CARA Me is now open for data entry! The deadline for Progress Report Submission is Friday, August 12th at 11:59 PM EDT.

Coalition Classification Tool

The Coalition Classification Tool can now be created and completed, but we have learned that you will not be able to submit until August 1st. The CCT can be found by navigating to the 'Reporting' tab in DFC & CARA Me and clicking on "Coalition Classification Tool."

Submit your Core Measures Survey for Review
In order to submit core measures, coalitions must first have surveys reviewed and approved. DFC grant recipients may submit surveys for review at any time. If you have an approved survey in DFC & CARA Me already, and your core measures questions have not changed, there is no need to submit a new survey for review.

Update Key Personnel & Contact Information

Please check your coalition information, including key personnel names, email addresses, and phone numbers in both DFC & CARA Me and in GrantSolutions GMM. You can check your Key Personnel in DFC & CARA Me by clicking your coalition name on the dashboard (right next to “Welcome”). If the information does not match in the two systems or if any information is no longer accurate, please notify your Project Officer to seek approval for updates/corrections. Accurate, updated information supports ONDCP, CDC, and our team in reaching out to your coalition.

Coalition Snapshots

Please review your coalition snapshots and if you have any questions or think you may have submitted incorrect data, particularly for core measures, please reach out to our team to discuss the issue. You can review data submitted by your coalition from 2016 to present in DFC & CARA Me. Recent updates in key personnel and other coalition information may not be on the snapshots; if the information has been updated in DFC & CARA Me, it will be reflected in your next snapshot.

Visit & Read Success Stories
ONDCP and the DFC & CARA National Evaluation Team want to acknowledge and thank DFC coalitions who have already helped to grow the Learning Center by submitting success stories. The Learning Center helps coalitions easily find evaluation-related information and share stories that will help one another. Please check out the Learning Center and read some of the stories yourself for ideas that will help inform your own local work. Please note that the DFC & CARA Me team is working on completing the updates for submitting a Success Story so this feature is not currently available. We will provide an update when you are once again able to do so.
Best,
DFC & CARA National Evaluation Team
