As you know, MRW holds 10 luncheons each year at Pinehurst Country Club, one of Moore County’s premier dining venues and one of the few that can accommodate our 100+ attendees, both in room space and parking.

We want to share some changes coming in 2027.

The cost challenge

We know luncheon costs have become a concern for many members. Unfortunately, like other venues, PCC is increasing both its meal prices and room fee in 2027.

Rather than pass the full increase along to you, we're raising the luncheon price by just $1.00, to $40.00.

That leaves MRW covering a shortfall of $3.50 per person per luncheon. You can help by continuing to generously support our Ways & Means tables or becoming an MRW Regent through a donation.

Every contribution makes a difference!

New 2027 meeting plan

In 2027, we plan to have 7 luncheons instead of 10. 

Our other three meetings will take place on evenings or weekends at venues (TBD) with little or no cost.

This change offers two important benefits:


• Lower costs for members, with fewer expensive luncheons.
• More opportunities to participate, especially for members who work or have daytime commitments.
  

While our luncheons regularly draw more than 100 attendees, MRW has nearly 300 members. We'd love to see more of you get involved and have the opportunity to invite others!

What won't change? Great speakers, wonderful friendships, fun gatherings, and the energy and effectiveness that make MRW special.
