COMMENCEMENT 2026 UPDATE
Undergraduate Ceremony
Thursday, May 28
12:00 p.m.
Prudential Center, Newark, NJ
Due to an unexpected change in scheduling at the Prudential Center, we will now be starting our Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony at
12:00 noon. The ceremony will conclude by 3:00 p.m.
This time change will no longer allow for lunch to be offered. However, a brunch will be available upon arrival for all faculty and staff. Please see below an updated timeline and information regarding RSVPs:
- 8:00 a.m. – Volunteer bus leaves WP (Lot 5)
- 8:45 a.m. – Dais & Faculty bus leaves WP (Lot 5)
- 9:00 a.m. – Call time for staff arrival for brunch and volunteer assignments

9:30 a.m. – 50th Reunion Alumni shuttle leaves WP (Lot 5)
- 10:30 a.m. – Graduates and Guests arrive (doors open)
- 10:30 a.m. – Dais & Faculty call time for brunch and robing
- 12:00 p.m. – Ceremony begins
- 3:00 p.m. – Ceremony ends
PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to adjust your TRAVEL PLANS to now request a parking pass or request to take the bus, please RE-SUBMIT your RSVP and it will override your previous submission.
In order to plan accordingly, please RSVP at Commencement Events no later than Friday, APRIL 3, 2026. Any submissions beyond the April 3 deadline will NO LONGER be eligible for a PARKING PASS.
