Emergency Appeal:
Basic Human Needs crisis
We wouldn’t ask now if it wasn’t an emergency. Please help in any way that you can.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Catholic Charities has done everything possible to help people in need. People who have lost their jobs. People who are struggling with access to food and shelter. People who are scared for their children.

Every day, the pleas keep coming in.

"It is with a humble heart that I am seeking help at a very difficult time for me. I recently lost my full time job. I am a single mom. I am rendered helpless to pay my mortgage or any of my bills."

"Current single mom with a 6 year old and a newborn out of work due to covid and behind on rental payments in risk of eviction."

"I am in need of rental assistance. I have been unemployed since the start of the COVID pandemic. I have paid my rent faithfully up until July. I am trying to find help and have applied for SNAP benefits and only am able to receive food stamps. Is there any way that you guys can help me."

"I’m really need help to pay the rent bill , my husband lost his job due the pandemic . I’m the only who are working but my salary isn’t enough for all the expenses and provide food also ... Thank you!"

"I’m scared to miss a rent payment. Please get back to me. Thank you."

Unfortunately, we are past our breaking point. Our case managers are overwhelmed, and our hearts are breaking. We just cannot keep up with the demand without additional help from our friends, partners, and supporters.

Why donate to Catholic Charities in a time of crisis?

We have been in operations for 100 years. Together, we will be here for 100 more. Individuals and families in need are reaching out to us. We want to do everything we can to honor their dignity and humanity in an hour of need.

Thank you so much.
