Paradise Valley United Methodist Church
Summer Worship
Beginning July 1, we are moving from three services to TWO, just for the summer months. July 1-September 2, we invite you to worship at our 9:30 or 11 am Sunday services. The earliest service at 8 am will meet Sunday, June 24, then not again until after Labor Day on September 9.
Pastor's Message

  Dear Friend in Faith,

On July 1, we begin a new worship series called “God on Film.”

Movies capture our imaginations and our attention. Therefore, it seems appropriate to take advantage of a couple of the 2018 blockbuster films this summer to illustrate some Biblical teachings in our July worship series. Because it’s a Family Sunday, the family film, Incredibles 2 will be our opener. This movie provides some hilarious yet realistic insights into family life and dynamics....

Two PVUMC Lay Leaders Receive the Bishop's Award
PVUMC members Sally Hecht and Roanne Wallace were honored by Bishop Robert Hoshibata on Saturday, June 16 as recipients of the 2018 Bishop’s Award, presented at the Desert Southwest Annual Conference in Glendale, AZ. The Bishop praised the two lay leaders, who were hired as consultants to help the Conference with its vision, growth and vitality efforts.

Journeys Small Groups at PVUMC
Just because it’s summer, it doesn’t mean the church closes down. We continue to ignite faith, transform lives and create community, and you’re invited to journey with us.  Journeys, small groups at pvumc, continue year round. In this more relaxed
season, there may be fewer opportunities, but there are still many choices. Pick up a guidebook on Sunday or download it here and talk to a friend about joining you on a new journey this summer.
