IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:
The deadline to sign up for the
Pharmacy Partnership for LTC Program
has been extended to Friday, November 6
No sooner did we send you our earlier message regarding the Friday, October 30 deadline for registration in the Pharmacy Partnership in LTC Program than we received word that this deadline has been extended an additional week to Friday, November 6.

Enrollment into this program allows national Pharmacy chains to manage all aspects of the COVID-19 vaccination process including storage, on site vaccinations and reporting requirements for enrolled LTC centers. There is no cost. DOH strongly encourages all Long term care centers to enroll in the program.

See the below message from AHCA/NCAL:

LTC Vaccination Program Deadline Extended to Next Friday!

The deadline for long term care facilities to sign up to participate in the Pharmacy Partnership for Long-Term Care Program has been extended to Friday, November 6. Please don’t wait to register for the federal government’s national vaccine distribution program for long term care residents.

Long term care facilities must register with the CDC on how they want to receive and administer the COVID-19 vaccine when it becomes available. Nursing homes register via NHSN, while assisted living communities and other congregate settings sign up through an online survey.

As urged by AHCA/NCAL, although the deadline has been extended, please don't wait to register.

Additionally, as announced by Governor Murphy, Commissioner Persichilli, Deputy Commissioner Adinaro, and Dr. Bresnitz yesterday afternoon, New Jersey has made the interim plan public.

Also from the Department of Health: Contracted surveyors continue to provide surveys on behalf of DOH in both nursing centers and assisted living residences. Their focus is infection control and complaint surveys.
