HAPPY SPRING!
There's always alot coming and going at Vintage & Vogue but we wanted to share some really important news about the Fernshaw Fabric Collection by Max & Louise. Our shipment was sent out to us missing one fabric! We've spent the last 10 days trying to get that bolt and in the process we found out that the collection is essentially sold out!
We had them tearing apart the warehouse to find it!
We were finally able to get the LAST BOLT of the missing fabric so that everyone's order, by the time you read this, will have shipped out complete! We're terribly sorry for the delay. It's not usual, and not what we were planning, but we persevered to get it right!
We also got the last complete case of this line. If there are ANY fabrics you are wanting from the collection, you will need to order it NOW! Andover is out of most of the individual fabrics in the line and there just isn't any more to be had. They are NOT reprinting this line.
This isn't a line you can "think on."
This is a" think long, think wrong" kind of collection.
What makes this line unique is that it is an unusual collection of early textile reprints with motifs that are more common to English than American reproductions. If you collect fabrics for their uniqueness and history, you will absolutely want this in your collection. The quilts made with this group will be very striking!
We will only be able to make a limited number of additional kits with this line as well.
This line is also a perfect example of why we beg you to reserve fabrics by placing reservations. If we see everyone ordering XYZ color L or 12, we very often can get more of it so everyone is happy and doesn't have to pull their hair out hunting the internet for more.
The whole reason for reservations is that things are first come, first served and seeing how things are flying out the door these days, we want you to get the best delivery possible on exactly what you want, cut the way you want.
With the new system, it is much, much easier for us if you don't check the box where it says to use the stripe link feature for Reservations. We ask that you KEEP RESERVATION ITEMS on one Order by Collection and things that are in stock on another order. Your invoices will make so much more sense that way when you get them, and it makes it much faster for the ladies who prepare them. They are thanking you already!
