Hello Italy Travelers!

As we put the finishing touches on your fabulous Tuscan adventure, we need to let you know a few things, and most importantly, we need an important piece of information.

E-Bike Tour: We need your height. This will enable us to have a bike to fit you labeled with your name, so that we spend our time on the bike and not trying to size you for a bike.

EMAIL INFO@RACQUETWAR.COM YOUR HEIGHT

Truffle Hunt: One entire morning, you will be out playing tennis and going to the truffle hunt in the forest. There won't be an extra minute to change clothes between the two activities. For the truffle hunt, it is recommended that you wear long pants and closed-toed shoes. So you may want to pack a pair of pants to take on that day to throw on under or over your tennis clothes.

The Weather: The last several days have seen unseasonably cooler weather in Tuscany. Watch the weather forecast as we get closer. It could be that you may want to throw in a wrap or something to ward off a little coolness during dinner, as we will be eating outside on most evenings.

LAST MINUTE PACKING TIPS

We know that many of you are striving to pack as lightly as possible. To make sure that you can get everything efficiently into your suitcase, we highly recommend the use of compression packing cubes.

Many of our travelers find that they need an extra bag to carry their fantastic purchases home with them. A Just in Case Bag is always a good idea. This is a small, compact bag that expands for your return trip.

From hair tools (they must be dual voltage) to your iPad or phone charger, anything that you are bringing that needs to be plugged in needs a plug adapter. There are several different options.

These adaptors are a simple, inexpensive solution.

There adaptors are excellent if you want or need a three-prong outlet and/or a USB C.

Have you considered switching out your zip-top quart-size bag for something with a little more structure and durability? Your answer is these toiletry bags. They are TSA-approved and will last much longer than your average plastic bag. Color options allow you to organize your things efficiently.

Do you use a washcloth at home and don't think you can do without one? You will usually not find a facecloth in the bathrooms in Europe. If this is a necessity for you, please pack one. We recommend a baby wash cloth as they are soft, small, and pack easily.

Another item that we highly recommend is AirTags. You pair them with your iPhone and attach them inside your luggage, purse, backpack, etc., to track the location of your items. These have come in handy for many of our travelers when their checked baggage has been lost by the airline or when they have misplaced their purse or backpack. Remember to get AirTags Keychains to go with them so you can easily hook the AirTags in various locations.

When traveling abroad, we find that our phones sometimes wear their batteries down faster than when we are at home. These Magnetic Wireless Portable Chargers have been a lifesaver on many occasions.

You will be riding in a van during your visit to Tuscany. We will be in rural areas where the roads are narrow and often curvy. The vast majority of people are just fine with the travel. But if you are prone to a bit of motion sickness, just to be on the safe side, pack some of these wristbands or other motion sickness remedy.
