Dear Majestic Owners-

As of 10:00 am (Central Time), Michael has been upgraded to Hurricane status with winds at 75 mph. The storm is expected to be upgraded to a Catagory 2 or major hurricane status before making landfall. Winds at this point are projected to be 120 mph. This is the time for you and/or your guests to make preparations for evacuation. We continue to ask that all balcony furniture be pulled inside the units. We are expected to start experiencing tropical storm force winds by tomorrow afternoon. If you plan on evacuating, it is important to remember that Panama City Beach is actually an island, meaning that access to and from Panama City Beach requires crossing a bridge. Once wind speeds reach 50 mph, the bridges will be closed. Should Bay County Emergency Services issue a mandatory evacuation, we will make final preparations to secure the building. Before leaving the building, maintenance crews will shut off the elevators and shut off the generators. During a hurricane emergency personnel will not be able to respond to 911 calls. Please continue to monitor this storm closely. We will continue to provide updates as new information is available.

Should have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Owner Services at 850-563-1017 or Security at 850-563-1022

Sincerely,

Paul Shamblin,
Majestic Association Manager
