Dear Majestic Owners-
In case you are not aware, there is a new tropical depression brewing in the Southern Gulf of Mexico, just off the Yucatan Peninsula. Tropical Depression 14 is moving North and is currently projected to make landfall between Mobile, AL and the Big Bend of Florida on Wednesday. At this time it is believed that the storm will strengthen to a Catagory 1 Hurricane with winds up to 80 mph (

. We are closely monitoring the storm, as we suggest that you do as well. These storms can change at a moments notice. We do ask that in preparation of the storm that you or your management company please pull in your patio furniture.
Regarding the floor coating project that is scheduled to begin tomorrow morning, we met with Valcourt this morning to determine a plan of action. As the weather is still currently projected for only a 20% chance of rain on Monday and 30% chance on Tuesday, the crews plan to move forward with the work on Monday and Tuesday and into the evenings in order to have the floors coated prior to Wednesday. Once the floors have cured to the touch, Valcourt states that rain will not impact the curing process. With that having been said, and as originally planned
the 18th - 23rd floors will be closed down early tomorrow morning. At 7:00 AM, crews will begin rolling the first coat of waterproofing on Tower 1, floors 18 - 23. This means the units will need to be completely vacated on these floors by Sunday evening, October 7th and will not reopen until the morning of Monday, October 15th.
Should anything change between now and tomorrow morning, we will notify everyone immediately.. Should have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me via email,
or by phone 850-258-2260.
